Hello! My name is Morgan Takala and I am a young adult fantasy author!
I love traveling and taking pictures and best of all writing my YA fantasy series, Kingdoms of Color!
Growing up I always knew that I wanted to do something creative with my life. I just never knew exactly what I wanted to do. I have always had an active imagination and love for storytelling. I even kept a dream journal because oftentimes my dreams were incredibly vivid!
I actually got the idea to start this book because of a dream I had.
I have cosplayed my characters and even sold books at conventions. I have always been an extrovert and talking to people has come naturally to me.
Now, all I have to do is get my marketing skills up to date and start selling more of these babies! I hope to get a chance to sign one of your copies one day!

The Characters
Vermillion (Milli):
Is the youngest, most cunning child. Milli loves reading and learning as much about the world as he can. Some people say that if he’s ever missing, check the library first, because knowing him, he’s in there soaking up all the information he can.
Crimson
is the middle child and the next in line to be King, only he doesn’t want to be king. He doesn’t want anything to do with royalty. Crimson has always been a free spirit, hoping that someday he can break free from this curse and just be himself with no worries at all.
Ruby
is the oldest child and has always complained about how unfair her life has been. Ever since she was little, all she wanted was to lead her country and show people that she’s capable of so much more. Sadly, because she’s a female, the next heir to the throne is actually her her younger brother Crimson, thus making the burning jealousy in Ruby fester over time causing a rift in her and Crimson’s relationship. All she wants to do is prove that she is so much more than a simple handmaiden. She may not know exactly what she wants in life, but whatever it is . . . it’s not this.
Garnet
has always been a listener. He loves helping people and tries his best to stay pacifistic. He doesn’t like violence, but will resort to it if threatened. He always says that meeting Scarlet was love at first sight. He is a goofball and loving father, husband, and friend to anyone who has the pleasure to meet him.
