Book three: Stone of Apathy synopsis

The race against time has begun.

With the stones becoming an even greater threat than the world originally thought, and new information about their origins unlocked, it is now up to an unlikely alliance to solve the mysteries and save the world from the cusp of an all out war.

Ruby has never been so distrusting of the people who saved her life after the events at the dance, but with the way her little rag tag group is barely holding on, she’ll need to confide in a new master and pray it’s enough to help her protect those around her.

Meanwhile, Milli has been left alone to continue his research on alchemy. His perseverance finally pays off when he unlocks something that probably should have stayed hidden in the realm of impossibilities.

A new discovery piques Queen Scarlet’s interest, one that could turn the tides in her favor and make use of the prisoner in her dungeon. However, when her plans don’t go as expected, memories of her sister begin to resurface. Were events with Cherry related to the stones the world is now dealing with, or was her sister onto something much deeper than even Scarlet knows?

Plans of escape are on the horizon, and Crimson finally has hope that he can leave his prison and its bad memories behind. But with everything weighing on this plan, one wrong move could bring disaster. With his abused body weakened from his time spent imprisoned, and the enemy always one step ahead, will he have the strength to see push through and reunite with his friends, or will he lose everything?
